Southeast Vegetables is a division of
Begley's Fresh Produce Group

Located in a farming community close to Hook Head in Co. Wexford, Southeast Vegetables began operations at the turn of the millennium. In an area with no previous experience in field scale horticultural cultivation, we initially gathered together about fifteen farmers willing to accept the challenges of modern Irish farming.
Understanding that within their area there is a micro climate that is particularly suited to Brassica and Root Crop cultivation, we convinced the growers to come together in partnership with Southeast Vegetables.
Southeast Vegetables continuous investment in our local area (exceeding 8 million to date) has provided us with one of the most modern vegetable production and preparation plants in Ireland. It enables us to cultivate for up to ten months each year, with our main crop, Irish Carrots.
We will continue investing in people, systems and farms to maintain our position among the top Irish vegetable producers.
